The Denbighshire Pulmonary Fibrosis Support Group Meeting
The Denbighshire Pulmonary Fibrosis Support Group had their first very successful meeting on 19th June. It is a new group set up to provide support for anyone affected by pulmonary fibrosis. At the first meeting Jaime Ashton the group organiser was joined by Debbie Jones and Maria Jones, Clinical Respiratory Nurse Specialists from Glan Clwyd Hospital. There was a Q&A session with the members and the nurses, and members began to network and share ideas and thoughts about the development of the group. Lorna McLauchlan, Support Group Co-ordinator from Action for Pulmonary attended the meeting to support the group set up and provide an update of how the charity is working to help people affected by PF.
Anyone affected by Pulmonary Fibrosis are welcome to join the meetings, patients, relatives, friends and carers. Please feel free to turn up on the day or contact Jaime if you need more information. there will be a warm welcome and there will be light refreshments.
